Meet Jesus!
There's nothing like a real Birthday Celebration!
Nicodemus, a wealthy religious leader came to visit Jesus and express his appreciation for Jesus' ministry. John 3:1; 19:39
In moments, Jesus had cut to the chase, and began speaking into the deep places of Nicodemus' heart. "No one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again," Jesus said. (John 3:3). Jesus was speaking not of his natural birth, but his spiritual birth. Aka his "REAL Birthday".
Today, you may sense that same yearning that Nicodemus once did. And today, that same Jesus is alive and well, desiring to usher you into your "REAL Birthday". We want nothing more than to take you by the hand of your heart, and lead you in a simple prayer of faith.
Jesus came to offer the free gift of eternal life to the sincere seeking heart. It's not difficult, and it doesn't matter what you've done, or not done! The gospel of the Kingdom of God is simple enough for a child to receive and understand, if you are truly ready to turn your back on your former life and start anew.
Today, we invite you to simply speak to the Lord in prayer. From a heart that is sincere and truly desiring to turn from wickedness and sin, our Heavenly Father will quickly respond and answer. He promises in His written word, "He will call upon me, and I will answer him." (Psalm 91:15). And again in Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Are you ready? Then just mean it from the bottom of your heart...
PRAYER to KNOW JESUS
"Heavenly Father, I want to know you. I want to walk with you from this day forward. I am choosing right now to turn away from all of my sin and place my heart and life in your hands. Forgive me for all I have done to hurt you and offend you, Father. I ask you to heal me, restore me, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I need you to reveal your love and truth to the deepest places in my heart. I want to know more than ever, that you are real! Please take me, fill my life with yours, and change my heart and life. I accept your forgiveness for all my wrongdoing. I know it's only because Jesus bled and died for my sins that I can be forgiven and granted freedom from all the guilt, shame, and bondage to sin. I thank you for hearing my prayer today. I receive your free gift of salvation, through the work that Jesus did for me on the cross, and his resurrection. He is the only way to the Father, and I thank you for hearing my sincere cry to you today, Father. I receive eternal life, your forgiveness, acceptance, and unconditional love right now. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
