My Daily Life
Here's a glimpse into my daily life...

Trusting the Lord is in complete control of our lives!

While preparing to return home on a recent trip, I thanked the Lord for all He did in our hearts. He spoke to my heart so clearly, "I AM IN COMPLETE, UTTER, SUPREME, CONTROL." With that peace like a river flooded my heart and soul. And I chose in that moment to savor and meditate on that daily to cling to that truth. It in turn, has set my heart free - once again!   Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART. Lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He WILL direct our paths.  (Proverbs 3:4-6 - fact, not fiction!)

11:11    The time is short!
Time seems only to accelerate. Surely Jesus is coming soon! The Lord keeps urging me to keep moving forward, answering the call of God on my life. As my boys grow and mature (now 13 and 18), Jesus reminds me continually, there's no greater calling & privilege on earth, than to see my family and every person possible, come to see and know Him and His love, in a very real and deep way!  Sowing into their lives is an eternal investment!  For this reason I was born ~ To make Him known, with all that is within me.   It's the joy of my life!

Latest prominent passage of scripture: Proverbs 1:23 - "If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you." NIV.  (And because I DO respond to his correction with true "repentance", I receive the greatest thing - His heart, and His thoughts).  Thank You, Lord, for grace!

I've been taking private communion with the Lord each day since the beginning of this year.  Each time spent in the quietness of my own home.  Never before have I done so on a daily basis.  And never before have I found such simple and deep satisfaction in my prayer times with Him.  It's a part of my day I look forward to.  I have grown to see, Jesus is waiting for me in those times.  Even more than I eagerly look forward to Him, He eagerly yearns to see me preparing to come and sit with Him.  What He does in my heart, as I meditate on Him, while reading through John 6, Isaiah 54, and I Corinthians 10, are more than words can find to express.  I encourage you, friend ~ if you dare to venture into this deeply rich time with Jesus on a daily basis, it's more than simply a time of remembering what He did for you.  As you take the sacraments and join with Him in heart and soul, He'll change your heart, open your eyes, sensitize your spirit, and turn you inside out in the gentlest and yet most ravenous love kind of way.  He beckons us to indulge in the reality of WHO HE IS in flesh and blood.  He yearns to be known more deeply than the day before.  He'll enable you to see more and more WHO YOU REALLY ARE to Him.
